Act Submissions:
What are we looking for? We want to show YOU off, help you promote your skills, and also use this as a creative event to help raise funds for our upcoming season! Theatre Unchained is now accepting submissions for small acts between 1 minute and 20 minutes to feature in our show, from dancing, acting, and singing to comedy, magic, and improv. Don't limit yourself or be afraid to get creative. Think outside the box. Can you think of a fun way to show off how you build sets, create light or sound designs? You name it, we want to see it!

 

We love our artists and know how valuable your time is. That is why this event is designed to be low commitment (only two required rehearsals and one performance), but incredibly high in the fun department! While there is no financial compensation, you will be added to our Talent Pool for future performance consideration, and you help us continue our mission with ALL of our other productions, where we give 80% of all profits directly to the artists who helped create them, on top of a stiped! Gallery Raffle Donations:

Theatre Unchained is dedicated to uplifting local Indy artists and connecting them to people who may never have had the opportunity to otherwise. While our focus is on the preforming arts, we know that the health of the arts community at large is incredibly important to every art medium in Indy. We want to make art of all kinds easily accessible and affordable, which is why we include a Gallery Raffle as one of our fundraising initiatives.

The Gallery Raffle is designed to help promote local Indy artists as well as combat the perception that gallery-quality art is only for the financially elite without devaluing the art of the artist who created it. Our raffle will sell tickets at $5 and all the winners will leave with a piece of quality art made by a local artist at random. All items will be paired with information on the artist. This will allow your quality art to end up in the hands of someone who may never have been able to afford it otherwise, destroying a key barrier in accessibility in the art world.

Your donation doesn’t have to be custom made for our event. Maybe it’s a piece that, for whatever reason, just hasn’t been selling. Maybe it’s a piece that you would really like to have in the hands of someone who wouldn’t normally be able to afford it. Whatever the case, you have full control of what piece (or pieces, if you are feeling especially giving) are donated to the cause. 

 

In exchange for your generous donation, you will be listed in both the physical and virtual programs, promoted at the event, and your work will be on display during the event. You will also be added to a shortlist of preferred artists to collaborate with on future paying projects with Theatre Unchained. There is no financial compensation for this donation.
